Company

Is Oxford Private Studios a record label or a technology company?

Both. Oxford Private Studios releases music and develops artists, and it builds the broadcast platform and software that carry that music to audiences.

The music side works like a label and artist development company: OPS builds stage identities, produces original albums, manages publishing and rights, and releases through the OPS Store, OPS Radio and streaming platforms. The roster spans 26 artists and 55 releases on this site.

The technology side builds the infrastructure. OPS Radio broadcasts 18 stations and runs a marketplace for singles. Aevornix publishes local-first desktop software, with applications such as Aevornix Mail, AudioDJ and Payroll in early access.

The two sides are designed to reinforce each other: the catalogue gives the platforms content, and the platforms give the catalogue distribution that OPS owns.
